Commission to paint a three generation family. I wanted to capture the family in a kind of moment in time, the work is presented between two perpex sheets and laid out as if a photograph floating in time.

Pencil sketch and watercolour of Finnish actor Ville Virtenan, who portrays an autistic detective in Boardertown. A great passion of mine is Scaninavian Noir films and TV shows.

My main work project is exploring and correlating my memories. Having re-found and going through old sketch books this work was based on some original sketches I did in the mid to late 90's that I produced for the British and Ukraine Artist show 2024. The previous year I showed an original sunflower painting that I produced during the period of work, updating it and completing the work from my sketches. I have also produced some new work in the area exploring a technical development study of what I know and can do now apposed to back then.

Inspired by a photograph a friend took in Wales, many questions when you see animals in high up places. Edited the sizing here and there for dramatic effect. Other variations of this work in polaroids and a mixture of polaroid and watercolour paint. Final works presented in perspex sandwich to float away from the wall as shown in exhibition capture.
